Tour of Britain Women Stage 2 Preview
The expected winner yesterday in a bit of an unexpected way...more of the same on stage 2?

Stage 2 profile from procyclingstats.com |
Given how stage 1 went, I now think a late attack will stick going up the Horseshoe Pass with about 30 km to go in the stage, with tactics similar to today but maybe a new cast of characters.
Contenders
LOTTE KOPECKY -- Eeked out the win on stage 1, with start as the favorite for this stage as well. The climb shouldn't trouble her too much, in fact, she might try to go solo over the top given how close the stage 1 sprint was.
LIZZIE DEIGNAN -- A nice stage 1 result after what has been an up-and-down season so far. If she can stay with Kopecky over the climb, there's a chance in the finale, especially if there is another Team GB rider alongside.
PFEIFFER GEORGI -- Should make it to the finish with the front group to be there with a shout at the end...but it probably depends on how hard the final climb is ridden.
LETITZIA PATERNOSTER -- See previous
Prediction
Sorry to be boring with both the contenders and the prediction, but I think it will be two-from-two for Lotte Kopecky and SD Worx.
