The big TT

Stage profile from procyclingstats.com |
Short and steep, this is one for the climbers. It starts at UCI headquarters in Aigle and finishes at the ski resort in Villars-sur-Ollon
Contenders
DEMI VOLLERING -- The best climber...
GAIA REALINI -- Stage 1 was the Italian's best performance this season, in my opinion, which is a very positive sign heading into the Giro. Not as specialist in the TT, but the timing should play to her favor. Might not win, but should be in the top 5.
ELISA LONGO BOURGHINI -- Lost about a minute on stage 1, but this type of stage should be more in the wheelhouse.
KIM CADZOW -- Another who lost around a minute on the first stage, I think she should be contending for the win here. Still relatively inexperienced, the question for the New Zealand TT champion is how has the recovery gone from an aggressively ridden stage 1?
JULIETTE LABOUS -- Also lost about a minute on stage 1, the former French TT national champion is still climbing well and should challenge for top 5 on stage 2.
Prediction
She's showing no signs of slowing down, it's got to be Demi Vollering.
